近两年来,李克强总理对邮轮新兴产业十分关心。2015年3月4日下午,国务院总理李克强参加全国两会首次政协小组会议时,瞩目邮轮,并了解邮轮经济的发展情况。全国政协常委、原国家旅游局局长邵琪伟向两会提交了关于发展邮轮旅游的政协提案,CCYIA为该提案提供了基本资料,总理手中照片上是皇家加勒比海洋神话号邮轮。

2016年5月,李克强总理问国家发改委领导:在稳增长中,中国邮轮还能够贡献什么? 为此,国家发改委于2016年7月正式委托CCYIA对全国邮轮发展状况做了调研,形成了专题报告,提出了相关政策建议,已经提交。

2017年6月7日,李克强总理在人民大会堂会见了“全球首席执行官委员会”第五届圆桌峰会的知名跨国企业负责人。嘉年华集团总裁兼首席执行官阿诺德·唐纳德(Arnold Donald)参加了会见,就中国邮轮产业的创新与发展提出了见解,并呼吁合力将中国打造成为世界邮轮产业的重要一极。 李总理表示赞同。
On June 7, 2017, Premier Li Keqiang met with the heads of well-known multinational corporations at the fifth roundtable summit of the “Global CEO Council” at the Great Hall of the People.
